The Celestron SCT & EdgeHD V2 Off-Axis Guider Adapter is designed to produce a larger illumination area for your 9.25", 11", or 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain or EdgeHD telescope. Using this adapter with our off-axis guider allows you to use the full image circle in our larger telescopes, which is particularly useful for owners of larger format cameras, such as the Canon 5D or 6D, as their full-frame can take advantage of the larger illumination area produced by larger optical tubes.

The large SCT & EdgeHD V2 Off-Axis Guider Adapter has a longer optical length: 38 mm. The longer adapter length provides back focus spacing for digital SLR cameras for Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD optical tubes in conjunction with the off-axis guider without needing additional adapters or spacers.

The SCT & EdgeHD V2 Off-Axis Guider Adapter is made of black anodized aluminum. The internal surfaces are sandblasted to prevent glare and provide the highest contrast. The adapter has a knurled surface offering excellent grip for threading and unthreading.
