This fast f/2.2 wide-field system allows for shorter exposure times than traditional f/10 telescopes without sacrificing resolution. Since exposure times are shorter, your equatorial mount does not need to track objects precisely over extended periods. The short focal length also reduces equatorial tracking requirements.
